Kampung Senang, the “Village of Inner Peace”, is a charitable organisation that was established in December 1999 to serve the community and environment through a holistic and natural approach. Our first center is located within a 7000 square feet premise on the ground floor of Block 840, Tampines Street 82, the centre has day care services for the elderly, students and young children, as well as an organic farm. As our name suggests, we emphasize the Kampung community spirit of the past, incorporating the values of sincerity, simplicity, openness and mutual concern in the way we operate. As of May 2008, our 120+ active volunteers & 34 full-time & 8 part-time staff have reached out to over 10,000 beneficiaries & individuals through our range of services, with our fastest growing program being our Holistic Support for People Affected by Cancer (HSPC) and Wheels Of Hope (WoH) project which serve the needy & also promote recycling, repairing of re-using of mobility aids equipment. Our Holistic Lifestyle Centre (HLC) was opened in 7th October 2006 in Aljunied.
